If you can’t think of a Sunday afternoon better spent than tucked down Burnett Lane sipping tea (or cocktails), eating cupcakes and celebrating a new creative project, join the launch of Seam Magazine! Brisbane’s newest independent publication will foster creativity; featuring fashion, art, craft, design, music, photography, travel, food and more. Filled with writing to inspire and images to stimulate senses, Seam supports local emerging creative practitioners.
Three young Brisbane artists – Clare Barrett, Jaclyn Bates and Holly Riding – will be showcasing nine artworks and be on the scene recreating images from issue one in their own styles. On top of that, Brisbane band Inland Sea’s latest EP Fortune will be available for purchase before it’s even hit record store shelves!
So, for a super delightful afternoon, the ‘Start-Ups Issue’ launches at 4pm on Sunday October 30.
