Further I’d like to indulge you for a moment and to pass on my thanks for the years of hard work by all volunteer members of the GCMIA board (past and present). The fruition this year with the with this industry directory and CD Sampler. It has always been the intention of GCMIA to include and promote not only the bands in its activities but the industry as a whole, from producers, to recording studios, to photographers and list goes on. As a culmination of the all points of our local industry, for which the Gold Coast is blessed with an amazing array of talented and creative soles, is what makes the once creative and cultural wasteland that was the Gold Coast a thing of the past.
As GCMIA continues to grow and forge stronger relationships with GC art collective Rabbit & Cocoon, Business GC, The Gold Coast City Council, GC Arts, APRA, Griffith University and the creative community of the Gold Coast, the music industry can only continue to march forward and develop into being self sustainable.
