“What is the above is from the below and the below is from the above.
The work of wonders is from one.” – The Secret of HermesAfter more than fifteen years of pushing his creative limits through graffiti, street intervention and mural art throughout the streets of Brisbane and Australia, Quentin has challenged and extended his artistic practice across a range of media including sculpture, installation, painting, illustration, calligraphy and print. His art is a constant search for balance and understanding, where opposing forces meet to present an aesthetic that is alien and confronting, and yet strangely mesmerizing and familiar. Universal themes of chaos, death, ritual, myth, consciousness and the random are purposefully explored at their extremes, which drift and flow effortlessly to create fantastic dreamlike landscapes that speak to a more balanced and higher realm of our consciousness.
